With over two decades of entertainment publicity and special events experience, Vanessa oversees all aspects of public relations for Nederlander Concerts. In 2015, Vanessa spearheaded the media relations for the highly successful #WeAreTheGreek campaign in response to LA Recreation and Parks’ recommendation of a new operator after Nederlander’s 40 year reign at the iconic Greek Theatre. Developed to inform, rally and give voice to the venue’s neighbors and local businesses, the campaign generated 30,000 Change.org petition signatures and rallied hundreds of home and business owners to speak at dozens of local neighborhood council meetings across the city.

Currently, Vanessa is on the Board of Directors for Music for Relief, a non-profit organization founded by two-time Grammy winning/multi-platinum rock band Linkin Park, which is dedicated to providing aid to victims of natural disasters. She also served as the President (three years) and Vice President of Agenda (four years) for the annual Event and Arena Marketing Conference, which is the live entertainment industry’s preeminent conference in the country. Additionally, she serves on the events committee for the Special Olympics Southern California chapter and actively participates in Grammy® Camp and the Grammy® Awards. Vanessa is passionate about mentoring undergraduates at several Universities by participating in conferences and speaking engagements.

Vanessa started her career at the Honda Center in the box office and worked her way up to Public Relations/Marketing Coordinator.
