Media Manager and Senior Account Executive, Westbound Communications

For more than 14 years, Jessica Neuman has specialized in media relations, working with reporters at the local, regional and national level for organizations in the consumer, non-profit, business-to-business, healthcare, staffing, government and transportation industries. Currently, she serves as Westbound Communications’ media manager and senior account executive, where she develops and manages overall media relations strategies for the agency’s media relations clients including Chapman University, Providence St. Joseph Health (the nation’s third-largest non-profit hospital system), Mission Hospital, Kelly Services’ Southern California and Utah regions, CalOptima (Orange County’s county organized health system that provides health coverage for low-income adults, seniors and children), among others. Jessica has been recognized twice by the Public Relations Society of America’s Bronze Anvil awards for her team’s media relations work for Chapman University’s Survey of American Fears.

Jessica regularly speaks on Orange County’s college campuses about the changing face of media relations, the intersection of media relations and social media, the increasing importance of storytelling and more. She is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz (go slugs!) and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
